Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and talented full-time Scientist to join the US team in Newton, MA, at Harbour BioMed/Harbour Antibodies. The successful candidate should have strong experience in molecular biology, T cell activation & proliferation, myeloid cell characterization, mammalian cell cultures, T. He/She will play an important role in the discovery and development of novel biotherapeutics for immuno-oncology. He/she will be responsible for the development of stable cell lines, antibody binding assays, and antibody function assays. He/she will be expected to participate in experimental design, conduct experiments, optimize throughput, maintain detailed records, and generate standard operating procedures.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Mammalian stable cell line development
  • Antibody binding assay by flow cytometry and ELISA
    • Antibody function assay development by using T cells, NK cells or other immune cells
  • Thorough documentation and cross-functional communication


Requirements

PhD degree in molecular biology or immunology with 3-5 years of post-doctoral research experiences• Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques, required

  • Experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques, required
  • Experience with transient and stable mammalian (CHO and HEK) protein expression
  • Strong experience with flow cytometry
  • Experience with analyzing proteins (SEC-HPLC, endotoxin assays, SDS-PAGE, Western Blots) required
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), required
